The corporation is governed by a board of trustees appointed by the Lucas County board of Mental retardation and Developmental Disabilities.

A variety of employment opportunities can be explored through Lott Industries and Adult Options. Click here to read the Lott Industries employee handbook.

Supported Employment provides ongoing assistance in getting and keeping a community job with an area business in the Toledo-Lucas County area. We can assist you with finding the job you want, and help you apply for the job. Once you find a job, professional staff can provide on-the-job training and travel training if necessary. A job coach can provide training until you demonstrate the ability to complete the job independently. During the entire time you are successfully employed a professional staff will visit you a couple times a month on the job to make sure you are still satisfied with the job you found. Many people hold more than one job throughout their careers and you can ask for assistance at any time in the future to look for a new job. There are currently more than 200 people we help working in over 175 area businesses throughout the Toledo-Lucas county area.

Enclave Employment can also be obtained through Lott Industries. An enclave is a crew of workers with developmental disabilities supervised by a staff person from the Lucas County Board of MR/DD. An enclave normally works at the site of the community employer. Job training and ongoing supervision is provided to support successful employment. There are currently over 30 enclaves operating out of the four Lott Industries employment facilities.

Lott Industries Facility Based Employment can be obtained through enrollment into Adult Options. There are currently three production facilities employing over 900 individuals with developmental disabilities. Lott Industries is essentially a subcontract job shop involved in light assembly, packaging, sorting and inspection, and document destruction. Lott Industries subcontracts with over 400 businesses. Lott Industries is QS9000 and ISO14000 certified tier two supplier for the automotive industry.
